Baking a cake

I am writing this on the 20th of April but the cake was really made on the 19th. My mum and brother helped me bake a chocolate cake which I insisted had icing on it. It looks quite amateurish but it tasted quite nice and I tried my best.

So where do I start?

I have a lot to say, I just don't know where to start. Today, maybe, I'll talk about trivial stuff. I went out to the park with my mum and brother and the weather was sunny. We saw a lone swan and two rats by the river bank. I took photos of them, the rats, or as we say where I'm from, the 'mooshes' (moosh = rodent). One of them even looked up at me with her sweet black eyes—so cute!

So why did I create this site you may ask?

Many reasons. For one, I was growing tired of the internet as we know it today. I missed something old, nostalgic, buried in the corners of the web that only some would find. When I found out I could create my very own site and control everything on it I was thrilled. As mentioned before, I have so many ideas running rampant in my head; I just needed a place to safely store them.
